Honor 6 review , a nice successor for Nexus 5

Disclaimer, I am not used to do hardware reviews, let’s try!

My Nexus 5 burnt…I woke up and the USB cable was literally burning…so fired phone but still working, unable to charge it. Decide it to sell it since I was tired of the phone a bit…

I had high hopes on the Nexus 6, but I do not feel for spending 600€ in a mobile phone…and is not what I have expected either. I got  a great disappointment when I saw the price, what I loved about the last nexus I had 4 & 5, was having a last generation device for a reasonable price.

Started the research and after much discussion with myself, endless hours of video reviews I decided to buy the Huawei Honor 6, bought it for 299€ on amazon.es.

Keeping this short, honestly this is the real “Nexus 6”. Just that is called Honor…. Now its 2 weeks since I use it and love it 😉

I like

  • Battery last easily 24 hours intensive usage.
  • Radio integrated.
  • Awesome screen :O
  • Powerful processor and 3GB of RAM.
  • Nice, clean and really fluid UI.
  • Light phone in a similar size of nexus 5.
  • Great and fast camera.
  • Dual SIM 4G
  • SD Card 64GB
  • Price 300€, sweet deal.

What could be better?

  • Plastic quality doesn’t seems the best and if falls will break or get scratched easily.
  • Lack of bumpers or accessories in the market.
  • Cant remove the battery (nexus had same issue)
  • I said I like is light but could be a little bit smaller 😉
  • Old version of Android, they should update using same UI please!
  • Audio speaker on call is a bit too little.
