With XnConvert you can bulk resize images and add a watermark among many other things easily in Ubuntu, mac or windows. This is a great replacement for the extinct Phatch.
Be aware this is not a free open source software, but allows you to use it for personal use.
I have not found any issues so far, no register required nor nothing. Works fast and as promised.
Loved the simplicity and that you can save scripts / actions to use later in other batches. Great solution.
